This is the Hartford skyline from a park on the East Hartford side of the Connecticut River.
It was taken on a recent evening, when the sunset was underwhelming.
But, I liked the pink and gray tones.

I like that sky too even if it lacks the lurid hues of some sunsets. I like the view too; you don't show us many shots of the city skyline.
A perfect evening sky Jack with light brush-strokes of pink and grey. What a great vista.
This has the feel of a Dutch landscape painting.
I like the pale pink color of those puffy clouds!
This subtle sky offers a comforting way to end a bust day.
It's a beautiful view! I like those tone too!
What a beautiful shot! Lovely colors Jack.
Perhaps underwhelming, but so peaceful! Lovely capture for the day as always, Jack!! Hope you enjoy a great weekend!!
Underwhelming or not I feel drawn into the picture. I'd love to walk there!
A good perspective shot, Jack. I like it.
I've been noticing a lot of those beautiful subtle sunsets at this time of year, Jack! Beautiful.
What a pretty capture of the twilight after sunset...
Beautiful lighting.
Subtle and still beautiful. I like the rosy glow in the cityscape that echoes the clouds.
Such an exquisite moment in time!
Nothing wrong with a pastel sunset. What's wrong with a little understatement?
beautiful sunset and reflection of the skyline
The pretty fluffy clouds soften the impact of the city's concrete buildings - a good balancing act! Happy weekend Jack.
Wow, I don't like pink that much, but here in this sky it's gorgeous! Well done:)
Perfect sky.
And a great spot you chose to take the photo
This is postcard worthy, Jack !
The subtle colour here works well.
