All of our shops like this have gone out of business, replaced by modern Garden Centres which have a wide range of stock - but, in my experience, never what you actually want.
Since I am not a successful gardener, I nonetheless adore seed catalogues and stores. Wishful thinking? I did manage a handful of cherry tomatoes this season, tho.
When I was visiting my sister in Missouri we stumbled on the a place very much like this. It was really off the beaten path so it was a surprise to find it where we did. The shelves inside had a huge array of all kinds of seeds for all kinds of vegetables. It's nice to know these places exist.
I do love this building for a seed store!! Now how unique it that!! It is indeed nice to know that places like this exist -- somewhere!! Another great one for the day, Jack! Having fun yet? I just bet you are!
She seems so Young to be a manager . I like the old building , and I remember the special smell of this kind of store , someone in my family had one when I was a kid .
Looks like a great resource and the manager is cute too. Isn't it a bit late in the season to be thinking of seed? Thanks for the book suggestion. Will check it out.

Love that building image. What do seed stores do in the fall?
Heritage seeds should always be sold out of a building that looks like this Jack :)
Love these shots Jack.

I love the look of the building! Although I don't have a garden, it looks like a fun place to explore. :)
The building has a lot of character.

Very appealing place...it looks pretty irresistible. And the beet seeds remind me that I'm overdue to try planting a fall crop.
I love the old building, Jack!
For a second I thought what are Garrots?
So what are you planting? I'm sure Irina helped you choose...
Doing some gardening then? I like the way they stock beetroot under the carrots sign. So sad that there are few of these places left.

I would love to visit that store.
Love the old wooden bins and the outside mmmmmmmmmmmmm, love that old brick.

What a neat place to purchase seeds. Sure beats the chain store racks!
Ooh, the array is almost overwhelming.
Please add this place to our December itinerary:)
