Green Street

The Green Street Art Center in Middletown gets support from Wesleyan University.
One project was to put murals on the side of a building up the street from the center.

I rarely have a photograph I like better in black and white.  This is one.
The old men from the neighborhood stand out better than they did in the colored version.

I like this too. It has a street photography documentary vibe.

I love that they have brought their own chairs out with them! The B&W works very well for this one.

It is a terrific shot, Jack. Having these men in it adds such character to the image.

Great photo, Jack. With these gentleman sitting out on the street, no one gets away doing anything they shouldn't. Cool.

Fantastic photo. I can see where a full color photo would have detracted from men. I really like the way the middle man is looking.

Looks like some murals were not commissioned!

I usually prefer colour too but sometimes B&W really is better.

This works...and very well at that. All your portrait work has served you well in getting this one right. And the black and white is perfect. Bravo!
