18th Fairway

About 200 yards over water to the pin, to the left of the clubhouse, in front of that row of distant palms.

I think I will lay up.

Taken with my iPhone.  It takes much clearer photos than its predecessor.

your mobile has a great camera, this picture is beautiful, I love the perspective and the green grass looks soft, inviting to walk without shoes! :)

Those iPhone cameras keep getting better and better and I think you've proved it. Beautiful shot. I especially like those big puffy clouds.

Wonderful green grass and clouds photo. Your iPhone takes better photos than I would have thought.

When I said a good photographer can take good photos with a phone, my friends laughed at me.
I'll show them this photo and they will not laugh anymore.

Your iPhone shot came out great! I struggle with mine still. Love the look of those skies...

Is your ball out there somewhere? Bring it home!

Lay up? Really? Where's the Jack I used to know? He'd never lay up ... 200 yards - just a 4 iron.

Nice shot, though. But it sure ain't Connecticut!

These days you really can't tell which pics the phones took and which pics were from the fancy cameras. Especially for web size images. Lovely velvety grass and an amazing sky. But I don't know how anyone could see where their ball went in that huge space!

Beautiful shot!

But like Twain said, golf is a good walk wasted!

We await with much anticipation, how that went down, Jack.

And what does "lay up" mean? For me it means get on the sofa for an afternoon nap.

Very dramatic skies! I wonder who was the guy that thought that cameras should be placed in cell phones? I use my iPhone quite a bit for photos as well and I'm always impressed at how good they look.

Boy, that is some cloud.

I don't play golf. I don't play anything. I have absolutely zero athletic ability but I know a good lawn when I see one.

Haha! I agree with Virginia's comment! That's a very long way Jack, is it an easy shot?
