An eight year old had a special birthday party at Medieval Times in northern New Jersey.
She was crowned a lady of the realm.
A horseback master of ceremonies received the crowd's boisterous applause.
A knight represented each of the six seating areas in the arena. Our knight wore red and yellow.
A queen ruled and called the shots. She entered the arena during one of the episodes.
A Lippizaner horse demonstrated its famous leaping ability.
A raptor flew high above the arena, swooped low over each seating area, then returned to its handler.
Pageantry. Jousting.
The girls reported that they liked the sword fights best.

What an outstanding birthday to remember...and I wouldn't wonder if the other audience members have great memories as well.
A fun event, no doubt.
What a wonderful show this must have been with all the costumes and pageantry.
