Hartford Skyline from Riverside Park

Nice of her to stand there.

Gee, a reflection photo wasted on a day when Weekend Reflections is not open.

A few weeks ago, I went to Riverside Park, along the Connecticut River,
to get some Hartford skyline photographs.  Take your pick.

Still in South Africa.  Back by the weekend.

Jack, I KNEW that you would have a photo chosen before your left the country. Not one, but three?! Spectacular ones, too.

An impressive skyline. My favorite is the last with that great reflection.

Beautiful reflections. It is a very broad river, huge bridges.

I love them all but probably like the 3rd one the best, jack!

Very lovely skyline. Three great shots. My favorite is the first. To me it is more than just a photo of a pretty skyline or pretty reflection. I find it a very interesting photo with composition that captures a sense of grace and peacefulness, two attributes lacking in many city skylines. It does help that she was kind enough to lend a touch of human interaction to the photo.

I like the last one best - cities are always at their most attractive at a distance, I find.
