Osprey

This osprey has chosen a low tree for roosting, giving me a better view of him than I usually get.

The wing spread in the bottom photo is pretty dramatic!

An impressive bird. My favourite shot is the second one, Jack.

You caught the bird in action. Great shots. It does not seem to be worried about you and your camera. Perhaps it is use to having its picture taken.

Nice captures, Jack. You know how I love wildlife pics! It's rather unusual to see an osprey on a low hanging branch. Those talons are rather impressive, aren't they?!

Fab capture Jack, it's always an incredible experience to see these magnificent predators at work.

WOW! I don't think I have ever seen an osprey down so low. They love to be way high up.

Good shots! The ospreys I see always seem to be way, way up or far, far away. Look at that clear eye, dangerous beak, and talons that mean business...

I'm green with envy. Ospreys here are so rare that they are protected and you are not allowed near their nesting sites. So we rarely get close up views.
