I agree with Grace, your confidence wasn't shaken and this is a terrific capture as always!! I would love to see some of his work, too!! I hope your week is going well and that you have a great day!! I can't see much outside my front door as the fog is really thick this morning!!
Forgot to respond to your comment regarding the zebra in the Pacific Northwest: The animals at Olympic Game Farm originally came as retired movie animal actors. The founder was the first animal wrangler for Disney and ended up making a home for them here. I generally don't care to put animals into captivity but I think most of them have only known this life and compared to some zoos the environment is somewhat more stimulating. And living without predators and with predictable meals is probably a general improvement over what Mother Nature might dish out.

Mort's experience obviously didn't shake your confidence Jack, excellent portrait shot.
Good shot of him, Jack!
I discovered yesterday that there is a show of Weegee pics on here so I will have to try and get there to see some of his work.
Now that sounds like a job I could sink my teeth into.

He looks like quite a character!
Did he give you some suggestions as to photography? Nice portrait!
The fearless portraitist strikes again! Good shot of Mort!

There's something very winning about a lop-sided smile. Nice portrait.
Great face!
I like his gentle smile.
Nice to get him at the other end of a lens then...
I like his smile, and I guess it reached his eyes too :)
