Back in Southwest Florida!

I arrived back in Naples with one hour of sunlight remaining, so I ran to check out
(and photograph) the golf course renovations before unpacking my car.

After a summer of sun and afternoon rains, the grass is dense and vivid green, the new trees
are healthy, and the water hazard (i.e., pond to non-golfers) is full.  Fore!

Another hole that underwent less intense renovations also looks good.

See more photographs with reflections on James' blog, Weekend Reflections.

Good perspective. Check on the course before looking into the condo.

Love the palm tree reflections in your first photo, and the other tree reflections a good also. Enjoy the warmth of Florida.

I am one of those few and unfortunate American males who just doesn't get golf. That may start with the fact that I don't have a drop of athletic talent, but it goes farther. As you probably know, Mark Twain, a long-time resident of Hartford, described golf as a good walk spoiled. I guess I'd just rather walk.

Can you 'hazard' a guess as to how many balls are lying at the bottom of the lake :) Super reflections Jack.

That looks nice. I've not played in a couple of months but hope to be back next week. Watch out for the water monsters!
