I arrived back in Naples with one hour of sunlight remaining, so I ran to check out
(and photograph) the golf course renovations before unpacking my car.

After a summer of sun and afternoon rains, the grass is dense and vivid green, the new trees
are healthy, and the water hazard (i.e., pond to non-golfers) is full. Fore!

Another hole that underwent less intense renovations also looks good.

Indulging in two interests right away!
Good perspective. Check on the course before looking into the condo.
Looking good, Jack!
I'm glad you enjoyed seeing Annette!
Hope your time in Naples is as fun as always and I know you'll enjoy the golf course!! Great pics as always, too!!! Looking forward to your posts from Florida!! Hope you have a great weekend!!
I bet you unpacked those golf clubs next!
Absolutely beautiful! Great shots, Jack.
You might well have gotten out ahead of the first snow of the year!
Beautiful reflection. Have a lovely weekend.
What a beautiful golf course. The reflections in those ponds (golf hazards) are gorgeous.
Awesome reflection in first photo.
Love the palm tree reflections in your first photo, and the other tree reflections a good also. Enjoy the warmth of Florida.
Glad you are back!
That looks inviting
I am one of those few and unfortunate American males who just doesn't get golf. That may start with the fact that I don't have a drop of athletic talent, but it goes farther. As you probably know, Mark Twain, a long-time resident of Hartford, described golf as a good walk spoiled. I guess I'd just rather walk.
Can you 'hazard' a guess as to how many balls are lying at the bottom of the lake :) Super reflections Jack.
That looks nice. I've not played in a couple of months but hope to be back next week. Watch out for the water monsters!
Nice shots! I especially like the one with the palm trees.
I love the palm tree reflection too!
I'll bet this was a welcome sight. Sounds like you have your priorities straight.
