Mike (above) and Jonathan (below) live in neighboring houses on Kenyon Street in Hartford's West End. Mike was helping Jonathan put some junk in the trash while I was taking photographs down the street. As vigilant homeowners, they wandered over to see if this stranger was causing trouble. Satisfied that I seemed pretty harmless, they posed for portraits in front of their houses.

They look like nice neighbors.
Great to have vigilant neighbors, and they look happy to be on camera.
it's so nice to have good neighbors!
These are great portraits Jack!
Is there no one immune to your charm Jack :)
Yes, vigilant neighbors are definitely a plus and what great captures, Jack!! You do get such wonderful "people" shots! I'm sure their neighborhood appreciates them!
You are so good about snapping portraits of people. I admire that.
Neighbourhood watch at work!
Great portraits Jack!
Your neighbors will be famous.
They look like friendly chaps!
I agree with Halcyon and with all the others as to your always great portraits, Jack.
How did you convince them you were harmless?? Just askin', Jack. Just askin'.
Great to know people keep a lookout around your way. I'm not sure they do here... Nifty fifty lens again? Good results.
Your portrait skills are without peer! Very nice. But did you ever think they agreed to pose for you just to get rid of you.
Hmmm. Maybe that only happens to me?
Well, you got away with it this time. . . ;-) And got a couple of nice portraits to boot.
So you're harmless are you? :-)
Very nice portraits, both of them!
Terrific portrait shots!
Nice portraits.
Like "mostly harmless," the Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy's two-word entry about Earth?
Like the first shot a lot. Lots of personality.
