Red


This handsome house in the West End of Hartford always catches my eye.


Oddly shaped side windows of a Killingsworth house.


Another West End house, this one with a bird house on a tree stump.



So I started looking for red West End houses.
This one would make a great farmhouse, but it is in a very urban neighborhood.



And another.  That's enough for today.

All of them are eye-catchers. Same colour but certainly different architectural styles. Although very attractive, I doubt that I would want to live in any of them.

That first one is a real winner. Now you've got me wondering how many red houses I might find around here. I don't think it's a common color in the Pacific Northwest. I must have a look.

These are beautiful houses. My favorite is #4, reminds me of a red house on the street I grew up on.
