It is a tough time to run the Hartford library system. It suffered a $600,000 budget cut and lost 10 positions in the city's recent efforts to balance the city budget. The library system narrowly
escaped $400,000 more in cuts that would have required closing three branch libraries.

Same situation in Haninge, this summer you can borrow a bike with your library card here. Bridget sure looks happy here.
It seems to be the same story everywhere these days, jack!
She has a tough job balancing the library needs with the budget.
A tough job, but one that must be maintained.
She has a tough job. I wish her all the luck possible given these shrinking budget times.
Her shining personality seems to be up to the challenge.
But who would leave my native Queens? Besides me, I mean.
Given what you've said about the state of Hartford's libraries I have to wonder why this lovely woman is smiling. I wish her luck.
Oh dear! Our library systems are a treasured part of our country and it needs level heads and civic help in order to maintain the wonderful services they provide. I hope this woman is able to work effectively for the city!
Our local library has just had a big refit. Apparently it is one of the most used in the district. I must start using it more myself when I retire. They are such a valuable service. I hope yours does well under this lady's leadership.
