Hartford Stage is presenting the world premiere of a new Broadway-bound musical, Anastasia. The book is by Terrence McNally and the songwriters are Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty.
Hartford audiences have been enthralled. The sets and staging are brilliant -- easily Broadway quality -- and the singing, choreography and acting are all great. It is scheduled to move to
a Shubert theater on Broadway this winter, but the theater has not been named.
I enjoyed the show and hope it succeeds.

I like this night shot Jack!
Nice one Jack!
Most colorful sign that give a hint to the story and performance. Hope they are a great success on Broadway. I'm sure they will be after your positive review.
Sounds fantastic! I'm still waiting for a chance to see "Hamilton".
I imagine, from the style of the title, that it's a stage production of the animated movie of the same name from 1997, which I rather liked.
great night shot, i love the colors! i am glad you enjoyed it!
You've been very busy since you got back up north, Jack!
It sounds wonderful! Lovely nighttime photo Jack.
Nice night shot! And the show sounds like a real winner.
