Cookies!

The Christmas season in Hartford has its own habits, customs and rhythms.
One habit is a visit to the south end of Hartford -- the Italian section -- to buy
Christmas cookies at Mozzicato Pasquale Bakery and Pastry Shop.

Are you saying that you don't eat cookies at any other time of year?

Our party this year is celebrated with all Italian food. Could use those cookies.

Merry Christmas to you, Jack, and to your family. Good thing I don't live close to that Italian bake shop. I might be 20 pounds heavier, and that wouldn't be good.

Oooh! I haven't had good Italian cookies in a long time. These look wonderful. You're making me homesick for San Francisco...North Beach, in particular.
