The national champion Connecticut women's basketball team came to southwest Florida
last weekend for a tournament. They slaughtered the competition.
During every break in play, Coach Auriemma pushed his team to fix mistakes.

Fun shots Jack!
How fun to get to see them play a game (and win) in Florida. They really are the best in the nation.
Love your first shot, and also the others are nice!
What fun shots for the day, Jack! Always fun to see the "over the top" fans!! Hope your week is off to a great start!!
I think over the top would be an understatement in this case!
What a funny over the top hat! :-)
Those are big women! I'm glad you got to see the game, Jack!
I like it when people show their school spirit!
Great action shots, Jack. Looks like U-Conn has strong team unity, and an amazing reach.
Great team shots and you gotta love that last shot!
How lucky for you Jack. I'm sure you donned the basketball head gear as well.

Love that last shot.
Hooray Connecticut!
That's not nice. "Slaughtered"? Boy, you Connecticutians are tough!
Love your new header...that pier is wonderful and we've spent many wonderful evenings out there.
On the Saturday of cricket Test matches (international games which last five days) played in Yorkshire, there is a tradition of a large section of the crowd turning up in fancy dress - usually plenty of gorillas, supermen and nuns! It's a nice custom but actually dates back to the time when miners and factory workers were supposed to be at work on Saturday. They wore costumes so that they could not be recognised by their bosses who were at the game.
I like that first shot: the long arms of basketball players. And I'm not sure if the basketball head tops some cheeseheads I've seen but it's in the same wacky territory.
