A 1927 Cottage

Lots of viewers prefer cottages to mansions.  I don't blame you.
This cottage on 11th Avenue South was once called Morning Glory Cottage,
but the morning glories on the porch are gone.
Two blocks to the beach, two blocks to shopping and restaurants.

Linked to Ruby Tuesday.

Very cute. I have a feeling there isn't a 1927 kitchen or bathroom in that place.

i prefer the cottages too...i think the mansion owners are just too full of themselves!

I love these small, old (but renovated!) Florida cottages! They're manageable and comfortable.

That's a perfect little house. I would enjoy sitting on the porch.

in England we'd call that a 'chocolate box cottage'

Count me in on preferring cottages to mansions. Not use to a house filled with servants, so they look cosy. Lovely photos.

A lovely little house it is indeed, I'd feel comfortable in that one!! I love the porch and rocking chairs -- perfect for this old broad!! Hope your week is going well, Jack!

Yes, I could manage a cottage like this any time...

Oh, yes, this looks far more like a proper home as opposed to a fortress.

I like this place a lot too, Jack! Maybe even more than the blue one.

If only I could find such a spot near to my daughter's new home. We do not "need" six bedroom mansions with saunas and RV parking at this stage. All that stuff seems such a burden now....

Really my kind of house.

That red bench caught my eye too! This place looks like the perfect size to me.

I like the 1920's houses. You could do a "This Big House" Day while you're in Naples . . . thanks for sharing.

This is the kind of sweet fantasy place that many people go to B&Bs to experience.
