Cottage by the Sea

This house near Lowdermilk Park in Naples caught my eye.
Don't you think dolphins are a good way to dress up a house?

The style of that house looks so much like the house I grew up in, without the fancy paint job of course!

A distinctly Floridian approach to home decor.

It looks like they park their car "under the sea"!

Odd to have dolphins decorating a garage. Time to get the garage pumped out?

I like this mural, Jack!

Maybe they keep a boat in there, not a car.

And they always remind me of the great Douglas Adams, the source of so much fun and of our nicknames.

I agree, Jack!

Maybe not my personal choice, but I do find it interesting!

Looks like a house that should be located in the Keys. I wonder if the owners did the artwork themselves. Looking at it closer, the dolphins are rather well done.

That person really loves the sea.

In Florida, absolutely. In Missouri - maybe catfish?

It's nice though I'd want to stand back when the garage door opened...just in case. The dolphins look nicely painted.

"Naples and Hartford in Season" has been included in Tuesday's Sites To See for this week. Be assured that I hope this helps to point many new visitors in your direction.

So cute! Love the tropical feel to it.

Jack, I'm sorry about the pop-ups on my blog page. It's SO annoying! My last try was to removed the visitors country widgets and it seems the problem is solved. Hope it's for good.
