Olde Naples Miscellany

Sometimes I end up with a bunch of photos that don't warrant a post all by themselves.

Goin' fishing, Olde Naples style.

A bench for VP and Malyss.

When I was a kid, the slogan was "I'd walk a mile for a Camel."
Now, the camel rides shotgun.  In a vintage convertible, no less.

Pink.

Another day at the beach.

How much is that cat in the window?

And finally, homeowners with a sense of humor.

I love olde Naples. Great collection of photos. I think they each deserve their own post. What? You only post portraits of sexy women these days? Sheesh!

After view your photos I'm wonder why I am still sitting here instead of driving down the I-75. :)

I know exactly what you mean. Great pictures.

That's a lot of people on the beach. I bet that sand feels great now. I somehow love beaches even more when it's not summer. They are more dramatic and inviting.

I think I'd like to follow the fisherman but stop first at the Pizza place.

These are great Jack! The one with the camel is my favorite.

What fun shots today. That camel in the car is quite unusual and that cat is giving you the evil eye.

We all need to deal with reality from time to time, Jack, and these are great, fun examples and definitely worth a giggle and a smile! And what better way to start a day??? Besides, I love your sense of humor!! The cat's look says it all!!

Great series, Jack, the photo on the top is my favorite.
Goin' fishing with a skateboard... never seen before... :)

Love the series, especially the 1600 cc MGA roaster with a camel in the passenger seat. Just plain fun. I can feel the warmth in all these photos, and that's something I need just now.

Old Naples is what makes Naples my favourite place in Florida so it was wonderful to see these pics, Jack!

Random shots are fun, Jack. The camel's hilarious... and my eyes are drawn to that handstander...

Love this, it's a bit like my 'walks', but surely more picturesque! Thanks for the bench!

Thank you for that fabulous photowalk! Nice, warm weather brings out the best in every place!

That camel gave me a good laugh!

Oh, come on. The beach picture and the mannequins would be worth a post. Nice composition in the former, made special by the handstand. And the latter is deliciously odd.

That is one mean looking kitty.

Something tells me you've never regretted getting a place in Naples. It must be a surreal experience getting on a plane in snow and sleet and getting off in sun and sand. I think the beach picture says it all.

I have a question: Just what is "an almost professional ball retriever"? A Golden retriever?

I once put 9 balls into a body of water one right after another. My buddy fell on the ground laughing. Too bad he didn't his head!

Thank you for the bench!
I like this kind of post, there's surely something to find and like in it, and , with the bench, I like car with the strange passenger!

I'm with Bob Crowe. Several of these would be fine, one shot posts. I love the wave that accompanies the camel.

That convertible shot warrants a post of it's own...it is almost a short story.

OK, I definitely need to put my glasses on before I start reading blogs. I thought the girl on the beach was sans bathing suit!

And that camel in the convertible deserved a solo post all on its own!

You are amazing, Jack. A great idea and very imaginative collection of photos. Love it!
