Hans and Renate are a charming German couple.
They live in Florida for five months in the winter and in Germany for the rest of the time.
Renate's wonderful "Sei Wild" sweater is what first attracted my attention.
I used my high school German to translate it as "Be wild!"
And, I was right.
Hans' business was publishing, a family-run company for many
generations, currently operated by their son.

A very handsome couple and I love her sweater.
They look like they are enjoying Naples (and life) to the hilt - another great portrait!
I like your recent portrait work, Jack.
A bit faraway from Germany, but I am sure they are enjoying their stay!
What a handsome couple and Renate does have a lovely smile indeed! Another great "people" shot!! You get better by the day and it is really an interesting series! I do believe you're having a fun time with it, Jack! That's great for all of us as well!!

Wunderschön! :) Your portraits always fascinate me.
Handsome couple!
Superb portraits.
I remember years ago when we spent many days every year in Naples/Ft. Myers that their was a large complement of Germans who vacationed there during the winter.
Interesting. Hmm?
Lucky couple.
That is the way to do it.
Get away from the rain, snow and clouds.
They look happy!
Splendid portrait!
Sounds like they have an ideal situation.
Nice looking couple.
Mrs. C and I have a long-held fantasy that if I ever get to quit the rat race, we would spend three months in the fall in London and three months in the spring in Paris. Dream on.
Germans are cool, eh?
They both look so charming!
I need that sweater in French!
Great portraits Jack.
