It was twenty FIFTY years ago today last week
Sgt. Pepper taught the band to play
They've been going in and out of style
But they're guaranteed to raise a smile
So may I introduce to you
The act you've known for all these years
Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band . . . . .
Tomorrow let me introduce you to the artist.

Boy, that's a throwback to the past! One heck of a colorful van. Didn't these things tip over easily?
Re your retriever: perhaps if you have so much trouble with your golf balls finding the watery depths, you could carry a wetsuit in your golf bag?
That's a lot of colour for the eyes to feed on.
Great post. Great band. Great ride.
This is wonderful Jack! Great find!
Psychedelic fabness! Tres cool Jack :)
Owned by an aging 60's Hippie or a youngster enamored by that period of time? I'll be interested in meeting the artist-owner.
Are you on Carnaby Street?
I loved seeing Ringo and Paul on the TV the other night. Wouldn't that have been great to see in person? That van is a bit of a blast from the past. Except for the Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest logos.
Oh, how fun!! You do find the best things/people etc. to photograph, Jack!! I always look forward to visiting!!
WOW! That is a find. Love the Facebook/Twitter/Pintrest logos on the back!

Wow, what a find, Jack!
I'm loving this!
Thanks to them, I learned english!
I love them yeah, yeah, yeah ..! ♥
That van looks right out of the 60s, except for the social media tagging.
I want that van.
Looking forward to seeing the artist - I'm hoping for an old hippie, Jack!
A friend of mine had a van painted like that - but the police used to stop him at every opportunity. So he painted it matt black and was never bothered again!
I love how their faces are painted on the back windshield like they are looking out at you! This is a great find Jack.
Paul's looking a bit dazed!
Fantastic!
Boy, someone is a big fan.
Indeed. See the link in my Thursday post.
BTW, I actually remember buying my copy of Sgt. Pepper (Alexander's department store, Fordham Road and Grand Concourse, Bronx).
That is so funny! Flower child meets social media. Well done and may I say...quite a trip!
Just LOVE this painting! The artist is really talented!
