Leoma Lovegrove is an ebullient artist from Matlacha,
a fishing village or artist colony -- depending on who you talk to -- north of here.
I ran across her colorfully painted trailer on Tuesday.
Leoma uses big, fast strokes to create a fun and colorful work of art.
Leoma has licensed some of her Florida images to a chain of stores
to use on colorful tee shirts, tote bags, beach towels and more.

That is a unique name. And some very cool glasses.
Leoma is a colorful person herself!
Wonderful images Jack!
"Ebuillient"? What? Are you trying to send me to the dictionary first thing this morning?
Love those glasses. Not my kind of painting but I can see where the tourists would love it. Or the snowbirds. Heh, heh!
i like her, and her artwork!
I'll have to look for her clothing line next time I visit that store! Love the glasses.
Ebullient is a great word to describe her art (and her!) - very happy, sunwashed color.
I have a feeling that Leoma is every bit as colorful as her works of art. I do love those t-shirts.
Colorful describes well the artist and her works!
Yes indeed, ebullient is a perfect word to describe her and her art!! Fun, colorful post for the day, too, Jack!! A bright spot in my gray old morning!!
Love the pink flamingos! Those glasses Leoma is wearing would give Dame Edna Everidge (google her) a run for her money Jack :)
A splendid portrait, and she does good work!
Really an ebullient artist, Jack!
Fake last name? Sounds like what an artist might do. Grin!
She is really talented, I love those t-shirts!
Léia
Good for her, Jack!!
Ebulliant is the right word.
I love the photos and once again the comments are fun too.
Leoma looks like she must be lots of fun!
"All You Need Is Lovegrove"?
She's like a walking painting.
Uh, grove-y.
