A snowbird shows photos from southwest Florida and southern New England and other places he goes.
An excellent photo that has me thinking.
Very cool, Jack! I think I would have missed this one as I walked by.
I took a snap of a unicorn sign at a horse farm years ago. It was placed at a very old bridge but I never looked under the bridge!
Hahaha, FAR better to let us each imagine our own story of the unicorn under the bridge!!
A lovely picture!I am your new follower. You have a lovely blog. Glad to be here.Do visit my blogs when you find time- http://andmylifegoeson.blogspot.in/and http://manjuzkitchen.blogspot.in/Have a great day! :)
Love your reflection shot!
The tale could be interesting to write! :o)This picture is a beautiful and perfect summary of Venice!
Lovely... You should write the story!
That's a compelling image with unicorn and reflection. Well done.
Another great one, Jack! ;-)
Those masks are so beautiful... What a great art, and such a nice thing to share... Great pic, really.
Wonderful shot Jack! Your photos remind me of how much I loved being in Venice.
What a fantastic reflection for the day, Jack!! Such beautiful masks -- now for a story to go with them!! Have a great weekend!
Venice was very inspiring to you :)
Beautiful detail, Jack!
Oh, it's a complicated tale. . . the unicorn took a short ride in a gondola, looked up at the wrong time, got caught under the bridge, stopped water traffic, and the mess was resolved by a city official named Figaro who had been interrupted while enjoying a cannoli at an outdoor café. Cannoli leftovers were impaled on the newly-freed horn and the filling decorated its face. Or something like that. Famous folk tale. ;-)
Love Kay's tale, haha:) And love the details on that mythical head, those are fabulous only-in-Venice reflections!
Awesome!!! I saw a pair of Unicorns under a bridge......or maybe it was......never mind.MB
Ah ! So pretty Jack ..... delightful capture.
If there is any city worthy of a unicorn under the bridge story, Venice is it, if unicorns can swim, or the canals are shallow.
I thought I'd better leave the rest of the story up to individual imaginations. Sometimes it is better that way.I mix compost from the dairy and some potting soil--mix it up and plant away. but you are right they do need a lot of water. MB
Great looking mask.
Great reflection of the bridge and the whole effect has the dreamy look of Venice. Very nice.Bises,Genie
The unicorn under the bridge... I have already read this somewhere!
You could hand out give-aways for the best unicorn story.Fun reflection.
Well done Kay! Venice is a treasure trove of reflections, nice one Jack.
Kay is so clever! If I was't so tired I'd give it a whirl, but running around Santa Fe is exhausting.I missed a couple days are are trying to catch up.As a middle schooler, my son won a declamation for a rendition he did about an unicorn so its image brings back fond memories.
