VP operates a fine
blog in Livorno, Italy, that shows benches from around the world. And
Malyss in Nice, France, has a second fine
blog about benches. This is a bench that I saw on a college campus in Providence, Rhode Island, at the end of May.
Wouldn't you love to have the Rheta Martin Chair of Applied Relaxation named after you? If your name were Rheta Martin, of course.

"applied relaxation" seems to be a contradiction. Lovely old bench, tho.
Thank you for the link and for the thought! I've posted so much benches since 5 years that I think I'd deserve one with my name! :o)
this one is very pretty , indeed!
Oh, yes, Jack. I certainly would like that. And I certainly do like your post today.
I love it! That is a study I could really get into.
I love benches and the variety there is of them everywhere! Fun shot for the day and I'm looking forward to more! Hope you have a great July 4th, Jack! Enjoy!
Sounds like too much hard work Jack.. Have a wonderful Fourth of July, RELAX :)
Nice one, Jack!
Today is benches day ;-)
I love it, Jack!
Great find! My name is not Rheta Martin, but I would like to post this gorgeous bench on aBoB!
Applied relaxation is the best applied academic field yet! Too bad my name's not Rheta Martin.
I prefer my name but I love the bench and I love contributing to VP's blog!
I could definitely do with some relaxation! Great find Jack.
PS: Love your new profile pic. The hat is snazzy!
Looks very comfortable.
I am sure VP will jump on this one.
I hope it's as comfortable as it looks.
I bet I will see this bench again soon! :-)
Brilliant. I would happily practise applying relaxation right there.
