Perennial Garden
The perennial garden in Elizabeth is near its peak. This garden is a favorite place for engagement and wedding photographs. I took these shots at 8 a.m. on Friday morning, before the garden started to fill up.
Have a great weekend, everyone!

What a beautiful garden, it looks hot there already!
is this your neighborhood, jack? our daughter went to uconn law for a year and lived not too far from here. these are such lovely images you've been sharing from elizabeth park.
Just beautiful! Gardens before others get there- are my favorite:) AND....so are perennial gardens- as you don't have to plant anything to get blooms each year! Nice captures- you're lucky to be surrounded by that beauty!
Beautiful, Jack! I especially like those tall white blossoms in the bottom pic. They look like Yucca blooms, but I don't know if you have them there (too cold and snowy in winter...).

I can see why this garden is popular for photos Jack, it looks so lush and colourful, would make a perfect background.

Thanks for sharing, Jack;o)

I can readily understand why this is a setting for wedding photos. I admire the landscaping.

This is what one would call bursting with color.

Beautiful perennials!
Simply lovely. Everything is so luscious and vibrant this time of year in CT, down here in New Haven too.
What a beautiful spot. I can see why it's a favorite for those types of photographs.
A lovely display of color in this garden.
An enchanting garden for sure, I would love walking there and take lots of pictures of the beautiful flowers!
Happy Sunday

I can see why wedding photos would be taken in such a colourful and cheerful-looking garden!
