Stanwyck Cromwell was born in Guyana but immigrated to Connecticut in 1970. He earned art degrees from the University of Hartford and paints saturated portraits and scenes with a Caribbean influence. The Connecticut Historical Society currently has an exhibition of Cromwell's works. Today's photos are details taken from some of his paintings in the current exhibition.

Yes, you're right my photo shows the easy, flat part of the walk in the CT. I preferred the more strenous, but less crowded portions.
