Five Black Men

Alvin Carter, Sr., also known as Brother Abu, is a well known and popular drummer in Hartford.

Devon is a security guard at Wadsworth Atheneum.

Hector was hanging with friends on Park Street, the center of Hartford's Latino community.

I don't know who he is, but he has presence and a strong profile.

The sculptor, May Howard Jackson, didn't give her sculpture a name.

Yes, these are all wonderful portraits. Perhaps taken at the Jazz festival you recently posted?
