Parkville Paint Jam

Two weeks ago, 23 Connecticut artists gathered to paint murals on doors of an out-of-the-way storage facility on the Pope Park Highway in Hartford.

Tim Rice was the event's organizer.  His "Dream" is on the left.  Ben Keller is a fine muralist who has numerous murals around Greater Hartford.  That is his dancer on the right.

Linked to Monday Mural.

"Dream" is wonderful. They must have had a fun time doing all of these.

What a great art project to add color and interest to these old abandoned looking buildings, and feature the work of local muralists.

How nice that each is so very different. It must have been a joy to participate and even better for the organizer when it was completed. Just a wonderful find, Jack.
