Garden Tour

Yesterday we toured very special Ridgefield gardens that were open to benefit a garden conservancy.  The gardens are on the grounds of the former carriage house and outbuildings of an estate.

They are a lovely mixture of highly formal gardens and more naturalistic areas.

Have I mentioned how wonderful it is to be in the same town as my plant-loving granddaughters?

The girls certainly made wonderful additions to the gardens...some of these will be so neat for them to look back upon when they're grown!

What a lovely place.

Lovely photos of flowers, and the finest flower is the one darting out from under the shrubbery with the fluffy white skirt.
