Union Station

Union Station is the lovely brownstone railroad station in downtown Hartford, where Amtrak runs a spur line.  Hot Tomatoes had a good thirty year run at the near end before calling it quits in 2017.
Unfortunately the most recent restaurant, a taco place called Chango Rosa, expired in March.

The building could pass for a church. Hopefully another restaurant moves in there when things settle down.

The old railroad stations use to be impressive, grand buildings, but with the demise of rail travel many have fallen into disuse. A number of then have become museums. Restaurant failures are now increasingly common. It is a fickle business.

Hopefully some good can be made of the building.
