It snowed in Hartford yesterday.
And guess who was here to experience her first snow. Willa!!!
Willa and her family are relocating from Johannesburg to Connecticut and flew in yesterday.
I thought I was arranging some fallen leaves to greet them,.
Mother Nature decided that snow was even better.
This is why I will be in Connecticut more often through year end.

Having that beautiful child near you will be an absolute joy! As soon as you can put your coat on, get to the nearest bookstore and buy an armload of books for Willa. I do not suppose that we will see any more photos of Willa on your blog! :)
She seems fascinated by it! What a cutie!
So adorable and what a wonderful welcome for Willa! She is so beautiful Jack.
What timing, Jack! She will think she is in a magical place! You must be pleased to have them so near!
Wow, on so many levels. First, I bet you are so happy to have your family so much closer. Second, that second photo of Willa is absolutely precious. Third, snow??? Really??? You had snow and we had a record breaking 100 degrees. The latest we have ever seen 100 here in Phoenix. Amazing!
She has the boots, the hat, and the coat and looks ready to be a New Englander. How nice to have them so much closer (though too bad to leave that beautiful spot in Joburg). Did the dogs come too?
hat a cute little girl !
The portrait is very nice, Jack, but the last photo is fantastic !
Magical moments Jack.. you must be very happy :)
Oh, how wonderful for you to have them nearby. And how wonderful for Willa to experience a new country - and snow! - and have her grandad to play with. So pleased for you all.
