About a month ago, I drove through the southwestern Connecticut town of Ridgefield.
Teen volunteers at a church were unloading pumpkins from trucks,
handing them down the line and placing them out for sale.
Fall is here and Halloween can't be far behind.

A bountiful crop! We have a church here that also has a huge pumpkin display every year, and I look forward to seeing it.
I never knew that pumpkins attended church. They would certainly outnumber the congregation in our village.
That is quite a load of pumpkins! I hope they had a great sale!
That is a lot of them!
They are everywhere here too, Jack!
What a selection!
You need to choose just the right pumpkin to carve into a jack-o-lantern. My wife always says pumpkin for pies comes out of a can.
This is a well curated selection. I see several that would come home with me if I were in the market.
this is a very organized pumpkin patch!
I think you may be right Jack ☺
What joy for the children.
That's a large quantity of pumpkins. Lots of pies and decorating.
