Heaven

"Heaven" is a graffiti-covered skateboard park at the edge of Hartford's downtown.  To show movement, I focused on the wall, slowed my shutter to blur the action, then waited for the skaters
to jump into the gray sky.  It took about 20 shots, but I am happy with this one.

City Daily Photo bloggers are showing photos with the theme of
"movement" today.  Click here to see them.

(Back to southern Italy tomorrow.)

I really like the 'movement' part, a bit less the rest, but it creates the atmosphere.

A super talented person to move like that.

This is definitely among my top "movement" favorites for today. Very cool, Jack! You're quite the hipster. :)

Great action and how humble of you to tell that it took 20 shots. I can identify with that!

Nice contrast of the colorful, stationary wall with the blur of the skateboarder.

I need some home schooling on this technique. You nailed it and all I have to add is, "ONLY 20??" I would have had considerably more in the can. V
