The statue in front of a bank celebrates an early explorer of Florida.

Good shot Jack. I like the angle and the reflection in the window.

Well done! I like symmetry of this shot -- and the low angle.

As a child I loved stories of explorers; guess it was the beginning of wanderlust.

The county I live in was named for him. Nice reflections!

Nicely composed. Every bank, even First Seventh Fifth Ninth Bank, needs a statue of good ol' Ponce! But I don't think he made it all the way down to Naples. :)

Your banks are much more welcoming than ours !

I have to agree with Malyss, your banks are definitely more welcoming than ours here in Portland -- they're all BLAH and duller than cat poop! Hope you have a great weekend!! Enjoy!!

I always love to see palm trees, Jack! Cool reflection.

I wonder if ponce means the same there as it does here :) I like your perfectly placed palm tree reflections Jack!

When I was a little kid, I used to just love saying "Ponce de Leon". It just seemed like such and exotic name.

That's one of my favourites now.

The reflections of the palm trees make a perfect setting.

Nice reflections. And I suppose Ole Ponce could be considered a "First Citizen," couldn't he?

That is quite the snazzy pair of boots her is wearing.
