The building is in a crescent shape, bringing to mind an encircling arm protecting the children.
The ceramic mural is 250 feet long. It is the work of artist Judith Inglese and was installed in 2008.

A good cause and a amazing mural.
For sure... Jack, you share today a wonderful 'slice of life'.
You have shared a wonderful thing!
This is a really beautiful mural.
Great mural!
Wonderful murals! I had no idea these child care centers existed.
I love that ceramic mural, it's beautiful. They do very important work!
Looks lovely Jack and I like the idea of a 'circling arm' :)
This is fantastic, Jack! I love the ceramic mural, the colors and "circling arm" not to mention the work that they do which is the best of all!
An impressive piece of work. I've just been exploring the link you give, which led me to what the artist has tom say about this particular work. It's at:

An interesting work...
Nice work.
Great cause, beautiful mural, fabulous people !
It is fabulous Jack!
Beautiful work, I like it.
... and a great cause!
This is refreshing to see, a welcome for immigrant children. They're not always encircled with protective arms.
Fabulous. This is hope and life and oh just good.
Very interesting building and mural. And it sounds like a good work; hopefully, they do not proselytize.
A beautiful building...the architecture's quite distinctive. And that mural is beautiful.
Wonderful mural.
Nice mural. Always good to see people helping each other.
This is the first time I've seen a ceramic mural — it's wonderful! Though what the center does is even more wonderful.
A very impressive mural. I appreciate your detail photos to give us a taste of the intricacies of the mural. Especially like the boy in the orange grove. Has an arts & crafts feel to it. Although I imagine it's referencing field work. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
So much to see and ponder when looking at this mural.
An impressive program with a building having an impressive mural. I maxed the photo to see the images better and like the addition of animals in the mural. So happy to hear that this community is taking care of the children. Wish all communities did this!
What a great work!
