Purrr-fect!

Chris is from Pittsburgh.  For much of his working life, he managed landscaping crews.
These days he is retired and devotes a lot of his time to caring for his elderly
mother-in-law while his wife manages a furniture store.

I do hear RETIREMENT is just so.

I'll bet he's a cat-lover, too, what with that T-shirt. Nice portrait! Being from Pittsburgh, I'm sure he's enjoying the Florida sunshine!

There are often too few years between the time we have raised kids and the time we assume responsibility for caring for parents.

I'm thinking the same thing as Tanya. He might be a cat lover too.

I suspect one or more cats are involved in his life...

He's a good man! And escaping the northern winter.

I agree with the others as to his being a cat lover! What a good man he is - one doesn't find many like him these days!! Great shot, as always, Jack!

He sounds like a good, dependable fellow. Funny shirt for a man though! Maybe it was a gift?

A man in need of a vacation maybe?

He looks like he's from Pittsburgh. His Florida life sounds tough, too.

What character in that face. He may be retired but he is definitely still working. Life sounds good, and the purrr-fect t-shirt just tops it off.

Nice portrait.

wow, that can take a lot of time and devotion indeed... here in the netherlands they want elderly people to stay home as long as possible, asking a lot of the people around them....
