Patek Philippe Geneve

Yesterday I took a commuter train into New York for the weekend.
My fellow passengers were pretty interesting.

It's interesting how you photographed all of them with the same background poster. How long were you on that commuter train anyway; you have a gallery of terrific portraits! Love the hairdos on the two top female photos.

I'm a people watcher too, Jack. Enjoy the characters you see in the Big Apple.

Nice photos, Jack. I'm thinking about making a trip to NYC myself during the holidays. I hope the weather stays nice.

Terrific captures and I love that you have the same background. Makes you wonder what's going on in their minds on this holiday season! Somehow I don't see much "joyful anticipation", but I don't think that's just NYC these days -- I'm seeing that same rather grim look here in Portland -- wherever I go! Hope you have a great weekend, Jack, and a wonderful and very Merry Christmas!!

I love these candid shots. They make me think of the time I spent on the tube in London. Lots of heads down over their cell phones and ear phones in their ears.

An very interesting collection of portraits. You have been quite stealth or simply no one took exception at this?

I'm never brave enough to just take photos of strangers when they are right there, although I like them a lot and they are always interesting, as your ones prove!

Great shots of them but no one looks very cheerful!

They look as gloomy as Parisians... But the shots are great!

You must have been very unobtrusive. None of your fellow passengers are noticing you. The bottom picture is very strong. I notice that he is an MTA employee.

Excellent portraits, Jack. Particularly that last one. Shows a lot of character in his face.

My pick is the top one. THe light on her face is marvelous. Great idea. I'll try this. Oh wait, we don't have a train/metro here. Darn!
