Vanderbilt Presbyterian Church

This church and its very high, pointed steeple always calls to me.
It is on Immokalee Road in Naples.

It reminds me of the wooden Seiffen Church that is
such a common ornament in German Christmas scenes.

This tower , like an arrow towards sky, is very impressive!

It's a weird shape and eye catching.

I checked your link, and you're right; there is a remarkable similarity between the two churches. PS. Where are your South African photos??!!!

Nice skies in both shots Jack.

I did not know the name of the Seiffen churches until reading your post, but we bought a music box shaped like one of those churches at the Chriskindle Market in Nuremburg years ago, as a present for Julie's mother.

That steeple would make this church stand out among all the other churches.

A church with beautiful proportions and lovely clean lines. What's it like inside?

Interesting design.

That's a beautiful picture. The gray skies and dark palms create a solemn but exotic feel.
