Don't you love the way that the owners of this home on Kenyon
Street in the West End of Hartford decorate for Christmas?
It snowed all day on Tuesday while I was flying north.
Fortunately, the flights weren't delayed.
And, fortunately, the snow was only 3 - 4 inches deep.

This one is a beaut. It's not over done.
Tastefully decorated and lovely in the snow.
THIS IS what I call a Christmas cottage! How lovely!
Many home owners take such delight in decorating their homes. The porch and roof on this lovely house are just made for holiday decorations. Love the wreath on the third floor!
Lovely. Very nice job in decorating.
welcome home!! i do love the way they decorate! ha, it's funny, 3-4 inches of snow would be pretty significant for us, enough to cancel school for a day or more!
This is quite a contrast to the tropical Christmas cottage you posted yesterday.
That house is decorated perfectly and I might add, putting all that up would not be an easy job! Hopefully they were climbing up on the rooftop before it snowed.
Got to admit that's a beautiful sight. Nevertheless, I'll continue to enjoy it on your blog and not in person. Some good friends are currently in Massachusetts and they aren't at all happy with the weather there and plan to return to Ocala on Dec. 29.
I assume you'll be returning to Naples 'ere long, also!
Those are picture perfect decorations for the season, Jack, and what a perfect capture -- as always!! Glad you arrived safely and wishing you a very Merry Christmas!!
It's already a beautiful house, and the decorations are not overdone. Nice shot!
I'm with Malyss and all others...
Really lovely decorations.
Beautiful home and decorations. This looks like a family that has a traditional Christmas celebration, like something from the early 20th Century.
Another picture perfect house! You got the right amount of snow: enough for pleasure, not too much for troubles.
That looks just beautiful and fantastic blue sky too. Super photo! (You're going to have to wait for my 500th :).
Love how it strikes a great balance between festive and tasteful - and the snow really helps! (I would love to spur Cloudia to tell her DC arrest tale too!:)
Their decorations suit the house so well, Jack! You will have to get accustomed to the cold again.
Now you see, despite the fact that yesterday's house looked lovely, it didn't spell out Christmas. This does.
So it's woolies for you again...
I guess you weren't away too long that your blood is too thin to handle 3-4 inches of snow. I hope you can come and go without any blizzards.
Lovely home here. However did they resist the siren call of pre-lit blow-up Santas and snowmen on their lawn?? And if one's good, why not more, plus a fence of candy canes?? ;->
A real Winter Christmas. We have grey skies and 7C.
Now that's Christmas!
Just enough to make the scene perfect. The forecast for the northeast looks pretty good next week. We fly into LGA on the 26th. Enjoy this beauty while it lasts.
How long does it take you to miss the warmth of Naples?
Wow, the works - that's worth the capture! Have merry Christmas!
At least those tacky Christmas inflatable things haven't taken over Hartford. This is a wee bit over the top but still classic Christmas. I like that.
