A snowbird shows photos from southwest Florida (Naples) and southwest Connecticut (Ridgefield) and New England and other places he goes.
Beautiful flowers and adorable white chairs!A lovely place to enjoy a good book!Léia
I think Florida is the only place where you can paint your house lavender and it actually looks great!
There is a classic charm about a porch and rocking chairs. The blossoms on the bushes seem to match the painted exterior.
What a pleasant place to 'sit for a spell'.
Well they might Jack :) but if we behaved ourselves we just might get away with it :))
I'd like a chair too...
Yep, I'll take one of those rocking chairs and lets rock the day away!! And I do promise to behave!! Great capture for the day, Jack!! So colorful!
Love the soft colors and the light on the porch!MersadMersad Donko Photography
I would join you in that chair, if I could. I see the home owner painted the house to match the flower color. What a good idea.
I think I have told you before that Naples is my favourite place in Fla and this pic reenforces that feeling! So pretty.
I am always drawn to bright colors at this time of the year and I love those rocking chairs. I have seen them all lined up going through Philadelphia and Charlotte airports on our way to the West Coast. Love them!! Like the header too, Jack.
Oh, what a perfect harmony there!Fabulous!
I could certainly sit for a spell!
The whole scene - the colors, the shade, the rocking chairs, the balanced composition - look so peaceful Probably not for me, though. I don't do nothing well.
I think I can feel a soft ocean breeze caress my cheeks. :)
What a lovely composition! Also love the new blog header, Jack, it's fantastic!
Heck, it's almost too perfect! I wonder: Would they fuss if I spilled a few cookie crumbs?
such an american sight!wouldnt mind taking another road trip...
That looks close to my idea of heaven, lavender colour and all. It wouldn't look quite right in Saltaire though!
