A snowbird shows photos from southwest Florida and southern New England and other places he goes.
My eyes are lost! It means that the reflection is working well! :o)
Chihuly is wonderful. WE have his work at our museum here and in Auburn their museum has this fabulous chandalier. Well shot Jack.V
As you have noted in comments on Julie's and Sharon's sites, it is Chihuly time at the Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix.Julie has to give a couple of presentations at a conference at the Bellagio in Vegas next week, so she (and her mother) will be checking in at the registration area under what must be the largest Chihuly installation.
I love this style of his work, Jack, probably my favourites!
I always stop to look in amazement at Chihuly displays. Wonderful art and like very much the selection you show here.
I think I would love this place!
I am a fan of Chihuly and have been for years!! This is terrific capture for the day -- actually any day!! Have a wonderful weekend, Jack!!
His work never fails to delight!
Beautiful one!Happy weekend.
It is beautiful!
Stunning ceiling - what a great idea with white walls. There is a lot of Chihuly work in the Pacific Northwest since he's one of ours. His glass garden in Seattle and museum in Tacoma are both on future itineraries.
An amazing and gifted man with an eye for color and a great studio of helpers and artisans.
Marvelous and colorful reflection shot ~ thanks, carol, xxx
This is really neat!
Sorry to admit this but I am a bit tired of Chihuly installations --- however, I remember being in awe when I 1st saw his work in Tacoma WA.But I have SOOOO much respect for the people doing glass --- been watching a glass class after I come out of my ceramics class on Tuesdays at the PV Art Center. It is so hard... the instructor made a beautiful brandy glass and DROPPED it when tapping it off the pole (or whatever its called). That was an hours work for a professional!
