Kiss

Because I still have not seen any Naples murals, here is
one from my mid-September walk along the
High Line on the west side of Manhattan.

Eduardo Kobra is a Brazilian artist who based his mural
on the World War II photograph called
V-J Day in Times Square, by Alfred Eisenstaedt.
Cool, no?

This post is linked to Monday Mural.

Striking! How does one get permission to do that on the side of a building?

I wonder if you'll find any outdoor murals in Naples. Too pedestrian for the town maybe? You might have better luck indoors; there's bound to be some of those around. That photograph is a true classic and seeing it in color is SO Different!

Cool, yes. The color and energy rays add their own zip to an already classic image. Another example of why the High Line park is such a hit. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.

awww Brazilian artist!!! Love it!
Thanks so much for sharing. Seeing this mural I also have a feeling of 70's, for the psychedelic colors.
I'm also enchanted by your header, it's gorgeous!
