Aldo Castillo Gallery

A wonderful contemporary art gallery opened on Naples' 5th Avenue South two months ago.

.

The Aldo Castillo Gallery started in Chicago and relocated to Southwest Florida eight years ago.  It was in the Miromar Design Center in Estero (between Fort Myers and Naples) before the new gallery was opened on Naples' leading shopping street.  I photographed through the front window.  Still slow to enter places . . .

The central figure above is the creation of Metis Atash.   It is made from thousands and thousands of Swarovski Crystals.

Gorgeous figures all. Love the sparkling Buddha! Glad you're staying safe. We can weather this latest surge of the pandemic.

That looks like a great place for a visit when things settle down a bit, Jack! Stay safe out there.

Quite eclectic.

Hope the gallery is able to prosper, but perhaps not until a vaccine becomes available. That one statue of the little girl looks like Wednesday from the Addams Family TV series, a sad little girl.

BTW, Jack the reason the ice in my photo is blue rather than white is because it is thin and clearly showing the water beneath it. We have freezing nights and days above freezing for now. The real cold will show up all too soon.

Being slow to go inside sounds OK. Very glad you are not being slow to take photos and post them. Thank you, as I enjoy seeing them. Hard not to get tired these days!
