Light and Shadows

I stopped my car and turned around because of the bright morning light on the leaves in the lawn.        Then the sculptural shadows on the country road got me excited.

Later, I thought the image might be a good one to put through Waterlogue, to get a painterly effect.

I'm happy with the result.

When I saw that, my first though was that you had another talent...painting watercolors. It's beautiful. And it puts to shame a real watercolorist's work. Geese...who knew that all that practice and throwing away first tries, and sketches could just be outdone by what a photographer and a program can do.

I like the artistic filter. However, it was the shadow which caught my attention.

That is amazing to think the image came from a photo, Jack!
