I am getting used to a very different environment around my new house.
One tree has a crop of unusual mushrooms around its base.
And a single tall mushroom rises from the grass.
There were mushrooms back in West Hartford, but these are quite different. I'm not going to eat any.

I only eat mushrooms from the grocery store! ;-)
I wouldn't know the difference between the good stuff and the toxic ones, so I'd leave them alone too.
With that kind of crop, I'd find a mushroom expert. And let them eat some.
Only eat mushroom after positive identification. Mushrooms are a fascinating category with a near endless variety. Had a dinner at a Fungi Restaurant in China that was just delicious and with a wide variety of dishes.
