Daytripping to Plymouth Country Club

A few days ago I played golf with friends at the beautiful Plymouth Country Club on the South Shore of Massachusetts.  It was designed by famous golf course architect Donald Ross in 1890,
in hilly country that was once a farm, complete with stone walls.  Nice course.

I know you aren't supposed to hike on a golf course but, I have to say that looks very appealing. I would be tempted.
