After days of rain and then very cloudy days, the last morning was gorgeous. I walked.
Hôtel-Dieu de Québec is a teaching hospital affiliated with Université Laval. It was started by Augustinian sisters in 1640 on a site across the street from my hotel.
The cafes had not yet put their chairs out.
City Hall is a striking building on a very steep hill.

I remember that restaurant's night photo, and can now see how it was red and purple at the same time! Guy in the sun must have been in FL for the winter to have such a tan already!

Beautiful photos. Chateau Frontenac is quite a place. The name always makes me think of Plaza Frontenac in the St. Louis suburb of Frontenac Missouri. When I worked in St. Louis, it was one of our favorite places to go shopping.
You showed the city well, Jack! I picked up a Louise Penny book at a Little Library this week so looking forward to reading it I have never read any before.
