I had a neighbor many years ago that made driftwood into art. She and her husband had a travel trailer and would head over to California for the summer months and she would come back home with a new stock of driftwood. Up until I moved this last time, I still had one of her outdoor hanging pieces.

Fascinating textures among those shells.
It all looks so warm and nice, Jack! it is a bit cool & windy here today!
Always a lot of beauty and interest on a beach. Nice captures!
Yup... for sure this is Florida. Some of my best memories.
There is always something to do at the beach and you would never get bored. I love drift wood, rocks and shells too. Nice images Jack.
Nice close-up shots. The guy with the driftwood looks like a slimmed down Papa Hemingway.
Pretty shells, we don't see so many on our beaches. I'd not like the crab, though it doesn't look much like the crabs I've seen.
We had snow -- again -- last night. This is painful to view. And it doesn't even radiate any warmth from my computer screen. What's that about?
