Antique Cars at the Edison and Ford Winter Estates - Part One

Last weekend I visited the winter homes of Thomas Edison and Henry Ford in Fort Myers.
A car show was going on.  These are some of the old Fords from the 1930s and before.

They are all so shiny and new looking. Great shots as well. I just posted my New England travel video to my blog. Maybe it will be of interest to you :D
Have a great weekend.

Lovely old cars - and not all black despite what Henry's supposed to have said.

What fun to see all these well decked out Model A Fords. The yellow roadster is always a favorite. My friend has a Model T tow truck that would have been a positive addition to this collection, and useful should any Model As fail to start.

There are some real beauties here. They could have fetched a fortune at the Barrett Jackson auction a couple of weeks ago.

Always great with these old cars.

I always think these cars are so beautiful...until I think about how they ride. I think I'll stick with my aging but not-nearly-classic Toyota.
