Mer Princess

A former CPA turned artist devoted 200 hours to gluing seashells all over one of the 50 fiberglass loggerhead turtles in Naples' "Turtles on the Town" fundraising benefit.

Ginny Dickinson's project, "Mer Princess," is in the lobby of the Naples Grande Beach Resort.

I can see the inspiration and all the work put into this... but not for me.

Wow that is a lot of shells! The artist really went all out on this piece. Norfolk VA had a similar project with mermaids and they can be seen all over the city.

I admire the time and attention to detail a project like this must take. I don't think I would have the patience for something like this!

Amazing! and what a lot of people-hours. Hope it raises a goodly amount of money for the charity.

At first glass I thought the top one was an owl. The second one is kinda scary. Maybe it's just me.
