This wonderful hanging female torso is built from venetian mask forms. Love it!

Since Carnaval is going to start within weeks here in Mazatlán this is a timely post to put me in the mood for a very noisy celebration. Very clever sculpture and the close-up helps see the individual masks.
I think the sculpture is amazing!
That torso is beautiful. I wouldn't have guessed masks but I see it clearly after you pointed it out.
I would enjoy this shop very much. I love Venetian Village! There used to be a great ice cream shop there, too!
The sculpture really is remarkable!
ooohhh I do like this piece. Great portrait too.
I do love the sculpture and it is indeed colorful and beautiful! Hope your week is going well, Jack!! Enjoy!!
I like how it's hanging from the ceiling, it looks like it's floating.

I like that sculpture, Jack!
i like it too, it's a really interesting piece!
Not up our alley but to each their own. We may have been put off Venetian glass by a bad experience on Murano, which is a serious tourist trap.
Gosh the mask sculpture is amazing Jack, what a very clever idea! The photographs look fab too, you should think about putting a few of yours in the gallery!
Very original!
Very attractive piece of sculpture, what a great idea.
